Labor warranty overview

Standard coverage

New parts installed by CJL Autoworks include a 12 month / 12,000 mile labor warranty. If something we repaired with new parts needs attention within that window, the labor is on us.

Used and customer-supplied parts

Used components or parts supplied by customers typically do not carry a labor warranty. We will always be upfront about coverage before work begins so there are no surprises later on.

Extended manufacturer warranties

Some new parts ship with longer manufacturer warranties. In those cases the part itself remains protected for the extended term, but our labor coverage still follows the standard 12 month / 12,000 mile period.

If you are outside the labor warranty period and the situation feels like a reasonable exception, reach out. We are always willing to review the repair history and work out a fair solution when it makes sense.
